Terms of Use

PMOS Daily is a personal journaling, wellness and educational Android app (with iOS planned for later), operated by Lukas Maus, a German sole proprietorship (see Impressum). The app helps you track your own cycle, mood, nutrition and other everyday factors related to PMOS/PCOS. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. By using the app, this website, or the optional Premium subscription, you agree to these terms.

Content in the app — including recipes, journal prompts, pattern insights and optional AI-generated reports — is for general informational and self-tracking purposes only. AI-generated reports are automatically produced observations; they may be incomplete or inaccurate and are never diagnoses or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Do not use PMOS Daily for medical emergencies or urgent decisions. Contact your local emergency services if you need urgent help.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you log, for deciding whether the app is suitable for your personal situation, and for the details you provide when purchasing a Premium subscription through the respective app store.

PMOS Daily requires no account or registration. Your journal data is stored locally on your device; we have no access to it and keep no copy. This also means you are responsible for backups: if you delete the app data or lose your device without a device backup (e.g. Android backup), your entries cannot be restored by us. Details in our Privacy Policy.

Purchasing a Premium subscription requires an account with the respective app store (e.g. a Google account for Google Play); that purchase is handled by the store operator, see Section 7. Your journal content is unaffected and continues to be stored exclusively on your device.

Please do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, circumvent usage limits, or use it in ways that infringe on others' rights. Optional online features (such as food lookup, photo recognition and AI reports) are subject to fair-use limits and may be changed, limited or discontinued at any time — the app's core journaling features work offline and remain unaffected.

PMOS Daily's core features remain free forever: the daily check-in, cycle and symptom tracking, mood tracking, the heatmap history, the rule-based weekly report and the recipe suggestions are all available without a subscription.

We additionally offer an optional Premium subscription that unlocks, in particular: the Insights section (statistical correlations between your logged values), AI-generated daily, weekly and monthly reports, automatic meal photo analysis, and the optional AI evaluation of your own experiments. The exact feature set may change as we improve the product; we will give reasonable notice of any material reduction of existing Premium features.

The Premium subscription is available as a monthly plan (€8.99 per month) or an annual plan (€59.99 per year). New subscribers get a one-time 7-day free trial with the annual plan; the monthly plan is billed immediately with no trial. Listed prices are the final prices as shown in the respective app store at the time of purchase.

If the free trial is not cancelled through the respective app store's settings at least one day before it ends, it automatically converts into a paid annual subscription at the stated annual price.

Purchasing, billing, invoicing, managing and cancelling the subscription all happen exclusively through the app store you obtained the app from (currently Google Play; the Apple App Store as well once iOS is available). That purchase is additionally subject to the respective store operator's own terms and payment conditions. We ourselves never receive access to your payment details.

A subscription automatically renews for the chosen term (one month or one year) unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current, already-paid billing period — on Google Play, typically via Play Store app → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → PMOS Daily → Cancel subscription. No partial refund is given for an already-started, paid period unless required by law or the respective app store's policies.

We reserve the right to adjust prices for future billing periods. We will give reasonable advance notice of any price change, e.g. via an in-app notice; if you disagree, you have a special right of termination effective when the change takes effect.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Lukas Maus, Eichenstraße 13, 86504 Merching, Germany, email: support@pmos-daily.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. by email). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal. If you requested that the service should begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided until you notify us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared to the full scope of services covered by the contract.

Early expiry when performance starts immediately: If you purchase the subscription through an app store and expressly consent that Premium features be unlocked immediately, before the withdrawal period expires, and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, your right of withdrawal expires accordingly. During the free 7-day trial of the annual plan, no payment is charged; you can cancel at no cost through the app store at any time during that period.

The free features of PMOS Daily are provided free of charge. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as under mandatory law; for slight negligence we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Beyond that, liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This limitation of liability applies equally to the free and to the paid (Premium) features; statutory warranty rights for the Premium subscription remain unaffected.

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when new features are introduced. Material changes will be communicated via the website or app. The current version always applies and is available on this page.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
