Cook the edamame
Bring a small pan of water to the boil. Add the frozen shelled edamame and cook for 4–5 minutes once the water returns to the boil.

Drain well. For a cold snack, briefly rinse under cold water and drain again thoroughly.

Toss with a small pinch of sea salt and serve warm or cold.
